遠從加拿大到屏東來的教書的Parker,年紀大約30歲,來到我診間換下短褲後就可以看到雙腿正面有明顯的靜脈曲張,他16歲開始便喜歡健身,但是在經過幾年的訓練後小腿便開始浮現出小蚯蚓,雖然不會覺得不舒服但是明顯影響到腿部的外觀,於是決定想要治療,在經過微創雷射手術後,腿部外觀明顯改善,他很高興在完整治療後可以繼續回到他健身房的生活。
因為健身所形成的靜脈曲張並不少見,熱愛健身的朋友要注意不可操之過急,過度的負重訓練容易形成靜脈曲張,而且如果有靜脈曲張最好先暫停負重訓練,等治療完後在醫師的指示下再開始健身。這樣才不容易復發喔!

Mr.
Parker a Canadian who teaches English in Pingtung. He is about 30 years young.
After he changed into shorts during my consultation hour at my clinic the
varicose veins on his legs were very obvious.
He
told me he has been doing weight-training since he was 16. But after several
years of training, he found that he had some varicose veins on his legs. There
was no discomfort for him but the legs’ appearance was bothered him lot. So he
wanted to solve this problem.
After
the minimal invasive endovascular laser surgery and phlebectomy, the
engorgement veins are disappeared. Mr. Parker is so exciting to go back to gym
after his complete treatment.
Varicose
vein is not unusual case for people who do body building or heavy
weight-training, especially when they train too tense. So if you find that you
have the varicose veins, the best way is holding on your training schedule. You
can start the training under doctor’s instruction after complete the full
treatment so your condition would have least chance to relapse.
